A Tough Nut to Crack (1 Viewer)

Dioramas on this forum are a delight to view and yours are among the most enjoyable to view, I am glad when members take that extra touch of covering / hiding bases and use imagination in background scenes, in this case Hougoumont keeping the French colonial style of Vietnam in that era.
Well done again.

Thanks for the kind words Wayne. :salute::

Your patience in covering the bases is a treat Steve. Pity not everyone makes the effort.^&grin. Some old fire power here in this lot. Robin.

Cheers Robin.
Yes certainly a lot of fire power on show there,

Just looking for a Mule mounted 106mm RR, 60mm / 81mm Mortars, 3.5" Bazooka and an M48 tank for the Marines in Hue, plus of course some more M60's / M79's / M14's and maybe even a Pistol, Grease gun or Thompson or two. So not much ^&grin

Then there's the list for more ANZAC's, US Army, ARVN / ROK/ VC / NVA / Civilians ^&grin

You had me fooled for a moment with the title, Steve.
For some reason ..:rolleyes2: .. when I hear that phrase (A Tough Nut to Crack) I always think about the WWII movie .. THE LONGEST DAY.
John Wayne, playing LZt. Col. Vandervoort, says that line, making reference to his assignment of being dropped into Sainte-Mère-Église on D-Day.

Okay, just me.:p

Fun and complex setup ..!!!

Sorry Larry if I confused you. I remember the film but not that line.
Glad you enjoyed the Hue street fighting set up. :salute::
