Aaaaaawe Tim, these photos are just too good to be true - and that background sets off your scene to a tee.
You guys have got me panting to get home so's I can start taking more photo's of our collection. You, the Lt & Randy in especial have shown me how you can set up a quite spectacular scene with only 1 or 2 figures.
SIMPLY AMAZING.

Thanks Guys
H

Randy,s bombardment of various great mini dioramas gave me the itch to do this one. This was another page out of my scenic Ireland book I picked up and there are still a lot of other great backdrop photos in that book so I,m sure you,ll see more of these in the near future.

I,m sick as a dog from a flu bug my daughter has had all week long or the plan was to do a much larger diorama but being under the weather I setlled on this mini dio till I fell better and have some free time to myself.

I was planning on doing a diorama with some frontline and britains highlanders and maybe a few painted plastics mixed in. I,m still not sure who I,m going to have attacking them yet???, French, nassua,Irish, swiss, cavalry, infantry???

Great looking photo Tim. That book looks like a good investment.

It is amazeing what these back grounds do to hilight the figs. As the Lt. has said many times, a picture tells the story. That sky back ground you asked me about, was from AC Moore store.:)

Reminds of les Tuileries in Paris, one of my favorite places to take a stroll, from the Louvre to the Champs.

TIM

C'est magnifique! If this is your work when you are sick, I look forward to more when you are 100%:D
Currently watching the A&E miniseries Napoleon so your dio was most appropriate. BTW-what did you think of the series?

Keep up the good work and get well soon.:)

Randy

Randy I have the A&E miniseries and I really liked it other then the battles scences being to short and lacking in size it was a great series. They also skiped over a lot of the battles and left a lot of stuff out but I guess there is only so much you can cover.

They need to do some new napoleonic films with todays video tecniquies to make armies apear to be much larger. They could do some great napoleonic battle scences!

Nice work Tim! I will have to look up the mini series on Netflicks. The abundance od mini dios kind of got to you huh? Fun ain't it?

Very well done sir-

The digital option is really making a positive impact in our hobby. I am trying to work my digital recorder to do " music videos" of some of my figures (don't think too many of the treefrog crowd would appreciate it as they are loud, metal songs:D). So far, music aside, they are pretty crappy.

Loud metal songs? Dude if it ain't Rammstein it ain't metal!

Nice work on the picture Tim: Hope you are feeling better. The backgrounds are really nice. I begin to feel a toy- soldier set-up is not enough now with all these nice professional photos appearing on TF. Take care and nice work. John
