I thought would post a thread as you call them about me! My name is Mike Renfro, I am a former Naval Aviator that flew S-2, C-1 and P-3 platforms. I am a contractor now that performs Auto-CAD design for similar projects in governement and private sectors. I inherited my Dad's collection which encompasses most of the toy soldiers I own. I have enjoyed the hobby some one year now and wish we could have done this together meaning me and my dad. That did not happen but i was able to make my peace with him before he passed. My father was Army Airborne in WII. He came home a different person. That person and the rest of us had problems albiet we understood why. I think this hobby is the best reminder of what my Dad and many others went through as well as a generation and all of us owe our freedom to.
