Hi all,

I've been looking at K&C's Normandy Village admiring a few of the various facades. I was wondering, do any of you own any of the pieces? If so, I would love to see a few pictures and curious about your opinion of them.

I was just in Sierra Toy Soldiers in Los Gatos, Ca. a few hours ago and I can honestly say pictures don't do the Normandy Village justice. They look even better in real life. Beautiful pieces.....Sierra has some amazing displays in the store. They have to be seen to be believed.

Thanks - would love to see some of their displays.

Do any of you have some of the buildings?

I have al the K & C Normandy/French builds, they are very good, better than the pictures portray. I would like to an inverted right angle set to go in the corner of my display. Only thing I feel lets down the 'flat' buildings is they have different pavements and they do not run level side by side, I can see why this has been done, to keep them upright, but would have been better if all the pavements matched.

I have most of the 2nd series the Pharmacie, Boulangerie, Cafe, Hotel and garage. The stock numbers begin with NV. I think they look excellent. But note they are smaller than the more recent series SP###. They are about 1/32 scale and the K&C figures look too big right up against them - especially at a doorway. The 2nd and 3rd stories are shorter still as if to convey a feeling of perspective.

The recent SP### series are a mix of facades and 3-D buildings and are larger - more like 1/30 scale

That's unfortunate - one would think they would be the same level side-by-side.

Looks nice Terry - thanks for sharing. You've got a great collection!
