Hi Rob!
In addition to the Conte and W.Britain Iron Brigade...you might try to find the Troiani Iron Brigade set also. These will add aditional poses to your collection and they will match nicely as I sculpted these too. Although the set comes with a resin base the figures can be displayed without it if you wish and this will allow you to arrange the figures to suit your space. There will be a few more additions to the newest W. Britains Iron Brigade figures later this year, including some other flags.
All the best!

I was at a small Toy Soldier Show today in VA. I had the opportunity to look at quite a few of your recent releases in the ACW - excellent work - I bouhgt a few to add to my older Britians and Conte scenes that I already have.

Very impressed with your work.

Cheers, Ron

I went to troops of time today and I was very impressed with the Britains ACW figures. I bought the wounded musician set and the routing sets.

Thanks very much guys!
I wish I could tell you about the April releases I am working on for ACW and other periods...but that time will roll around soon enough anyway. As stated before we are pacing things a bit to let folks catch up and this should give us a chance to go over the request lists to make some good choices.
As always, we welcome suggestions and we do take notes...so feel free to throw a few comments our way.
All the best, Ken Osen

Ken,hope you don't mind a complete novice to ACW making a suggestion!.I would love to see Britains make some dead/wounded sets for both North and South.Conte make these and i'm sure with the quality Britains is producing they would make an excellant job of them.I think these sets are also an essential component of a realistic ACW dio. Thanks Ken

Good suggestion Rob,
Anyone with even a passing interest in this conflict will recall the images from Antietam...The dead men of Stark's Louisiana Brigade along the Hagerstown Pike, or Captain Parker's devastated Virginia Battery near Dunker Church.
The name Gettysburg conjures up the grim images of Federal dead in the Peach Orchard, or the lone Confederate sharpshooter's body in the boulders of Devil's Den. These images brought the stark reality of war to the homefront then, and would be just as relevant today within our collections.
Thanks, Ken

Thank you Ken,in fact it was those pictures i have seen in Ken Burns series that put the idea in my head.Truly moving pictures of young men slaughtered in a terrible war.I think it would be a small nod to their sacrafice by having these figures in our collections.I appreciate your reply Ken thanks.

Rob

Shenandoah has some great figures. I know they were mentioned earlier but I really like the ones I have. And I think they are for sale here at Treefrog.
