If there is a God in heaven, this film will never see the light of day; Maxwell directing it is one of the many reasons, he of the Shara triology franchise killing 56 million dollar bomb/13 million dollar box office take.

That's only one of the reasons, there is a larger, more obvious one as well...............

Here's a February 2010 update from the Civil War Memory blog.

Pity that seems to be a rather biased discussion. I can't say I am much impressed with Kevin Levin.

No doubt history will be low on the film's priorities but it is Hollywood so if they get somethings right I will be impressed and if it is entertaining, I will enjoy it. I am sure we will see our share of myth in the Lincoln project as well.

It's not a blog I look at it too ofen. It was more in the nature of an update not so much as an agreement with what he said.

The Lincoln movie is based on Goodwin's book but Hollywood does take some liberties.
