ACW shadowbox diorama (1 Viewer)

Really enjoying watching this develop. I would have to say that my favorite figure is the one in the third photo waving his hat. That's a very creative pose that's not often (or ever) seen in toy soldier figures.

Hello Louis; Mike n Jefman,

thanks for looking in n yr kind comments. Some areas have been sanded down and I’m making minor corrections and will be adding details. The red markings are to identify those areas

I started to paint the mtd figs in oils developing the highlights and shadows. Noticed that the main fig was lacking a jaw making him look a little simian. So I added a jaw. Finished the mtd figs in oils. Notice that the main fig has the most details.

I started to pose the mtd cavalry on the base as I have to start adding the infantry into the scene. Notice the gradient sloping to the front.

The second pix was taken too close so I missed out the third cavalryman. I hope the shading and highlights will resolve by itself as the scene develops.
