ACW004 - older Civil War set (1 Viewer)

I have ACW004, Helping a Friend, three piece set. This is the Civil War set between the gloss and current production. The bottom of these figures are labeled ACW003, ACW007 and ACW023. Does anyone know why these figures are labeled individually?

On some older sets, K & C would number some of the sets so if you had Iwo Jima 01, it might say IWJ 01(A), IWJ 01(B), etc. However, the numbering you mention is not one with which I'm familiar.
