The first TV show I can remember is Batman and Adam West was larger than life when I was a kid. I had a chance to shake hands with him a few years ago and was still in awe of him. So it was sad news today to learn of his passing.

Adam West had a small ranch in Ketchum, Idaho near our family compound in Sun Valley. He painted
pictures and exhibited in a Sun Valley Gallery. He always participated in community events and was
very congenial..

loved when he played himself on The Big Bang Theory...

when you can make fun of your own career...
that's pretty funny...

Oh no, Mayor West from Family Guy passed away?

What a bummer.................guaranteed they'll pay respects to him on future episode, maybe tomorrow nights?

My first hero as a kid, another part of my childhood gone forever.

Holy Grim Reaper! Just 2 months ago I bought the entire series on DVD I liked it that much.

The Bat Signal will shine over Los Angeles in tribute to the late Adam West, the actor best known for playing Batman in the campy 1960 television series.
Mayor Eric Garcetti says the Bat Signal will be lit at L.A.'s City Hall Thursday night [15 June].
In Batman comics, movies and TV shows, the Bat Signal is a spotlight with the shadow of Batman's winged emblem that is shown on the night sky to call for Batman's help.
