I know John's stuff hasn't been around a super long time but I think it's some really great stuff. He has already put out as many if not more new releases than some of the other "big" new companies. His upcoming canoes look incredible and I'm eagerly awaiting them. He is the only newcomer to drastically pull money away from my K&C budget:D . I love his chosen time period and he sculpts very well and in the 1/30th scale. Anyways it would be nice to see him up their with the others as I think he will have much to offer in the coming years.

Hi,
I agree with Sage. This fall I purchased 10 John Jenkins sets, and passed on other manufactors. The F&I is a favorite of mine and in my opinion Jenkins soldiers are better than the Conte figures for this period. The poses are great and the value for the money is fantastic. The 44th command set is awesome.

It is also refreshing to see new conflicts addressed, instead of the standard fare of D-Day and Battle of the Buldge. Admittedly, WWII figures/vehicles drive a large portion of the toy soldier market, but aspects of World War 2 are done to death.

I too agree that adding a John Jenkins sub-catagory would be very informative to those of us who collect his wonderful figures :) Whilst I don't believe WWII has been done to death (there are so many conflicts in WWII that have not even been addressed yet), I believe that periods other than WWII have pretty much been put on the back burner due to collector demand. If more collectors began discussing these other than WWII periods, perhaps more of them would be made :)

I also agree with all of you; had a chance to see his figures in person and they are spectacular, second only to K & C in my opinion and I love the period he has chosen for his range.............

Here you go guys, as requested. John Jenkins now has his own official spot on the forum.

Yes! Shannon if you guys do decide on adding a new line this would be it.:) I second Showman's idea.

I contacted them awhile ago about getting a wholesale account; all I've heard so far is crickets chirping. I've got a very good idea as to their lack of response to my inquiry, but I'll keep it to myself for now.
