My collection extends to around 12,000 metal figures but FL is really under represented with only around 50 figures. While the price is slightly prohibitive I will admit that they do add a certain quality to the collection. The 50% off the early ancient Greeks will help but I must try to get a few more of these little beauties into the collection. Matt any more knock down sales !?! Gary

Ah only 50 figures, but they are brillant Gary. They are so eye catching on mass. Robin.

I agree with Gary, I have a large collection of John J, K & C, T Gunn and W Britains, with a few F Legion, which do add quality as I regard them as the best quality, but price is restrictive for me as well, especially when there are a lot of other great figures being manufactured, my weak spot is the French Napoleonic Retreat from Russia, but the horse drawn sledges are a little out of my price band. I have around 50 to 60 figures, from the Napoleonic Retreat from Russia range and the AWI range, the only AWI range I collect, they are great.

12,000 figures-that's just amazing ! Would love to see more pics.

What I'd like to know is how do you store and display so many figures. It,would take a whole house to show off, that lot.

Well in short I don't. They are stored in a large garage based at our weekend residence in NZ. I get a few out at a time to make up dioramas and photograph them for this forum and a weekly blog I write. One day I will rent a property and display them in a toy soldier museum - but that's a way off.
