Here's a few shots of my new AF001 fighter pilot on a landing strip somewhere in England. First shots with a P-47D in the background.

Hi Duke,

Nice warbirds with your new pilot.

Thanks for sharing.

Raymond.:)

Thanks Raymond. Those 2 fighter planes are both 1/32 scale, but I think they still look o.k. with the pilot... not so noticeable as being a different scale.

Duke,

The scale difference is imperceptible, at least to my eyes.

Good Job !! Much ado about scale difference.....

Raymond.

What a coincidence, just read a thread on The Diecast Aviation Website and Forum about the compatibility of K&C pilots and Corgi's 1/32 Spitfire

Looks good. I love Thunder(bolts) and Lightning(s) !

to "wwii buff": Yes, your photos look great! I have two 1:32 scale 21st century toys models of a german fw-109 & a usa p-51 hanging overhead above my battle of the bulge diorama. The 1:32 scale of planes vs 1:30 scale of k&c figures below is not a problem! I had a relative that was wounded when he had to bail out of a p-47 over france in ww2. Thanks guys. I hope Andy makes some USAAF fighters in 1/30 scale anyway to go with the pilots (and more USAAF figures, maybe ground crew).
