Lets hope the AFL handle s the drug issue better than the Tanking Issue........Today they fined the Demons $500.000 .....two staff suspended.....The charge was about Tanking....pulling a game....for a better draft pick......no money involved in gaming......just a bit of club dishonesty IMHO....The Club was found not guilty of Tanking... but ....fined $500.000 and two staffers suspended.....I am confused...Not Guilty...fined...two staffers suspended.....could only happen in the AFL..I wonder what the result would have been if the club involved was the Eagles or the Dockers....I shudder to think,,,,very confused...cheers TomB

Heard a Brisbane sports reporter on the radio about this and certainly does not make sense. Classic "cover up" type decision where did not actually formally blame the club possibly because of legal action and loss of players obtained by the tanking. Reporter did not have much nice to say about head of AFL. I think was more than just a game but a season of games.

Very strange ....from what I understand...and I dont really understand.....one guy made a remake...another guy took that remark as gospel and VOLA,,,the whole confusing mess....from what I have seen on various TV bit's and piece's ...people are as confused as me.....what the heck is going on in Aust sport.....Afl..Nrl...swimming...they all seem to be on a path of self destruction....MHO...cheers TomB
