After Ticonderoga, the British were to immediately push north along Lake Champlain and secure Fort Saint-Frederic. Fort Carillion guarded the south end of the Lake Champlain with Fort Saint-Frederic, the north end.

Towards the bottom of this page, you can see a model of Fort Saint-Frederic. The centerpiece a massive tower with at least 3 floors of cannon ports.

French had style!!! So get out those brick molds!!!
