Are most AFV's made of polystone? I know King & Country make their vehicles from polystone, but what about the others such as Figarti, Collectors Showcase, Honour Bound, John Jenkins, ect. I also know that First Legion does not use polystone and mostly uses plastic if I recall. Thanks all!

That is my understanding. Matt at FL decided not to use polystone for a number of reasons. At first I was skeptical, but am now a believer. I also collect other AFVs, but the FL are in a class to themselves in my mind.

Yeah I agree about FL. I have owned a few AFV's from K&C and some other polystone stuff in general and they are heavy indeed. I think I would like the lighter AFV's and would be interested in holding one by FL in person to feel for myself.

Holding one won't make as much of an impact as actually seeing one in person. Because the photo's don't do it justice. Although I am collecting FL Rebs know. I think the PZ 3 (although lighter than the other manufacturers) is the most detailed with an incredible paint job. Although more expensive. I think well worth it. Brad

Lo,

Here are some comparison pics of a KC T34 and a FL T34. Maybe this might help you.

I agree with Brad that although they are more expensive they are definitely worth the money.

Which is the FL ?..are they the same Mk or different Mk's..ie... a MK1 and Mk3...to me..there is a difference between the two...maybe it is the scale ?,,,regards TomB

K & C, HB, CS and JJ are polystone (although I think JJ may use other media). Figarti uses some poly but a lot of metal parts and metal etching. In my opinion, they are the best AFVs on the market but FL are pretty darn good too.
