I took these photos several years ago on a muddy slope shortly after painting my Armies in Plastic sets of Union heavy artillery. These really were a pleasure to paint up.

The artillery emplacement is by Bresica.

The crew in greatcoats is serving a 24-pound siege gun. The crew in frock coats is working a 30-pound Parrott. Each gun crew comes with a gun carriage and one of each tube.

Great work! Your pictures on the muddy terrain remind me of a scene from the Siege of Petersburg. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Brendan
