I've been laid up for a while but my hands still work. Finally had the time to snap some pictures and figure out how to post them. Just need to get a better/bigger work area to shoot in. The AIP guys didn't look like they would paint up well what with all the blocking and squared look to them but now I kinda like them.

Middle Guard, the figures look great! I like how you throw a bunch of different manufacturers and nationalities together. It lends more poses and can give you unique officer, drummer and flag bearer poses. I do the same with my French army. For line infantry, I have CTA French, CTS and BMC Mexicans, Victrix Grenadiers and some Poles I converted out of CTA Belgian line. Plus a couple metal figures from Russia and Ukraine. Here is a picture of a battle I did not too long ago, sans Victrix, however. A little grainy but still discernible. Keep up the good work and I also deal primarily in massive Napoleonic battles, although most of mine are unpainted, so I'd like to see more of your stuff.

Thank you for the nice words and the encouragement. The giant setups are my favorite part of toy soldiers. I think the reason I paint at all is that each manufacturer uses a different color plastic within the same army or for both sides of the same conflict. Over time my collection of resource books has grown quite large. Sometimes I paint to a high level of detail including piping and eyeballs and such and sometimes I just do enough to distinguish nationality in its basic colors. Keep posting your own stuff as that is why I come to this sight. The anticipation of seeing the next setup is thrilling.
