Those cases are superior.

As has been said, shipping from the UK to the US would be a painful experience. IF you could find a local distributor here in the US, I would be very tempted to get a “boat load of them”. YES, pun intended.

I build model ships (sail as well as grey hull) as a second hobby and it is VERY expensive to get some of the more traditional wood/glass cases; and it takes me a good while to build my own, which is what I do now.

I am in the Boston area so some possibilities are. I have absolutely no idea if they would be interested but just a thought???

this is a new one that i have just started to make, until now i have been reluctant to send this type of case out by mail order but i have redesigned the front door panel to (hopefully) withstand the rigours of our postal service. i will be sending out a couple of testers within the next week or two....fingers crossed
