I always wanted more than the origional 13 poses and now that Airfix has reissued them with this very glueable plastic,
making these conversions are a dream!

Super-nice. I can't paint faces well, and I hate the black "outlining" of harnesses and belts on the expensive metals, so I do a thinned dark watercolor wash after I get them painted, it really makes the details "pop", and you can't notice that I can't paint faces well as it really picks out the features. You should give it a shot. I always blow a couple coats of Testors "Dullcote" afterward so it doesn't rub off.

I agree, the faces do need some kind of treatment, in this scale. You could get away with a line for the upper eyelid and a dot for the pupil, but as Shootist mentioned, even a wash would work with the sculpted detail. For Caucasians, I would use either burnt siena or burnt umber. It would pick out the nicely molded detail on these figures. Same goes for the rest of the relief details, also as Shootist noted.

Prost!

I posted the photos because I was excited about the 14 new poses that were created.
I'll get around to painting them better later.
Thats right! 14 NEW poses!!!
