So recently I decided that for my birthday i would ask for either and mp40 (electric) or an k98 with an electric luger. I find all of those guns very extremely cool, and i was wondering, which airsoft guns are your favorites. And if you dont have any, what GUNS are your favorite?

I have several WWII model airsoft guns. The Mp44 is excellent if you can get that one. It has a full wooden stock and weighs a good 10 lbs very close to the real thing.Plus it shoots the heavy weight BB's fast and hard...about 450fps with .20 G
the cybergun Thompson is also very good. I would stay away from the MP40 as the magazines only hold 32 BB's and are harder to load and mis feeds happen a lot !
The other 2 guns that I mentioned above come with "High Capacity Mags" holding up to 200 to 300 BB's depending on which gun you get.

The models are very cool but they are not allowed in the Netherlands.

Pistols are not allowed in the UK so I collect deactivated Colt's and Remingtons plus the excellent reproductions by the Franklin Mint. Also collect types of the weapons carried by my family in the past. So far have a No4 Lee Enfield and a Smith and Wesson 0.38 "Victory" revolver as I carried during my service, a Webley 0.38 as issued to my brother, a No1 Lee Enfield and bayonet for my father(WW1), a Martini carbine, uncle (Essex Yeomanry) and a 1796 Light Cavalry sabre, great x 5 grandfather (Egypt 1801) Trooper

In answer to that last sentence - just about ALL of the ones that I carried about for around twenty years - in the service of Queen and Country - which as soon as I handed in my boots and beret - I was suddenly deprived of owning and shooting!

My first love wes the SMLE No.4. Lovely smooth bolt action - wonderful leaf sight.

Then came the SLR - twenty rounds - as quick as you like - and what a punch!

Pistol - 9mm High Power Browning - lovely - if you were close enough!

Bren - superb thing - deadly accurate

Sten and Sterling - well - let's just pass those by eh?

I also used a (borrowed) Magnum '38 revolver once, on a range near Hereford - and would dearly love to own one of those - what a stopper that was, lovely weapon - had to give it back though - you don't argue with those guys!

Part of me would still love one ( or two - or more) - but the other part looks at some events in the UK over the past few years - and maybe realises that for the good of everyone - perhaps I have had my fun with them - and it's better for the good of us all - that they remain restricted in use.

Nice memories though - thanks for asking - and enjoy your rights safely, for as long as you can. johnnybach
