Ak Ws094 Repaint (1 Viewer)

I asked this before and feel victim to one of Ron's wind ups. On the toy soldiers of paris web site there are two shots one of WS094 and then the same figure in AK uniform. Does any body know how this paint job came about?

I love this figure anyway as I remember a photo of a moon lite German sentry on the Alantic Wall that this figure always reminds me of. I wish K&C would do an Atlantic Wall Bunker to go with this figure. It would make for a great space saving Dio (a commando creeping up behind him could be an optional extra).

Andy and Gordon often repaint figures for their dioramas, and I suspect they repainted a western front sentry in Afrika Corps markings for that diorama photo. In the past, for example, Andy and Gordon repainted an RAF groundcrew as a LRDG mechanic crew working on one of the 30 CWT Chevy trucks for another North Africa diorama still in Andy's collection (I have a couple of photos of the diorama that Andy sent me about 10 years ago).

Sound like he's the same figure as on the box cover of the AK Opel Blitz.Very nice paint job indeed.
