AK23 repaint. Starting with a slightly darker shade of grau.(grey) I am still using the alternate turret. Take a little look at the commander and the regimental marking.

Also I started the weathering process on the turret. I will do the same to the chassis. Then figure out if this one goes winter. Who am I kidding?:p

I guess it's too late now but you know that's not exactly a cheap item in the after market.

So after picking out the major details, I gave the entire vehicle a wash to lighten it and pick up subtler details. this will also weatherize to some degree even though I anticipate giving it a whitewash! Then the wood boxes got a different wash first then the over all wash.

KV,

Nice one, makes a nice change to see a AK turning to the grey side.

That weathering brings out a lot of the detail. Looks good without the turret armour.

Still working on it. Picked up a lot of details with washes and highlights. I am
very happy with the way it is turning out. I have some extra AK Tank figures and turret for sale!

Still picking up details. You can see this is shaping up well. Check out the custom exhaust!

The weathering came out really well on it, looks like a completely different tank:cool::cool:

Extra nice work on the repaints! You have quite a force set up there on your

work station!

How's the gun going:) Are you going paint grey? Going to have a go at it myself , in a week or so:D

The gun is now grey. Been shanghaied by Confederate States Navy to finish ship!

Thought your idea for the gun was cool, as it is a very nice piece of artillery. Seeing as I'm avoiding desert warfare , couldn't help slapping on some paint as badly need artillary for the eastern front:D:D:D:D This was my first go at it (the paint can be washed off , so I can have another go at it in the future:D:D:D)
