Of course, There were all these wonderful Egyptian documentaries on YouTube. Finally decided to dig out my two figs and the chariot and start from there. This thread is a spin-off of the Merkava thread, in sincere imitation of the numerous spin-offs you get on the entertainment media....hahaha.
For those who are wedded to WW2 GIs and SS, here is a brief summary. Akhenaten and Nefertiti were the heretic couple of Egyptian history. Prior to them and after, the Egyptians worshipped numerous Gods. Abolishing all the other gods, this couple forced all to submit the sun god Aten. His wife Nefertiti is the queen made famous by the elegant-necked queen bust with blue crown. His son was Tutankhamun (golden bust mummy). Akhenaten was usually portrayed as rather odd-looking, with small breasts and an effeminate body (it's not my sculpting skills...hahaha}. After their time, the Egyptians tried to wipe out all traces of his heretical rule.
