Alamo Pewter/metal figures (1 Viewer)

I have recently managed to get hold of almost all the single colour/unpainted Alamo pewter figures which were originally issued with the Playsets. Some excellent sculpts/poses, here is the first set that I have painted.

Base comes with the figures , one of several based alamo sets Conte did. The other three are larger and slide together to make a large diorama

Simply brilliant Mike, just superb work to say the least.

I have all the pewter Alamo figures as well as the WWII and ACW ones too, will probably bring them to the shows in the spring to sell as I do not collect them, they are part of a gigantic collection I came into last April..........

Thanks for your comments, its just a hobby for me.I first started painting the smaller scale Airfix soldiers as a child in the early seventies, then had a spell involved in wargaming. Fast forward 35 years or so when I discovered the amazing variety of 1/32 scale figures, which got me hooked again. I have now been painting regularly for the last couple of years and enjoy it immensely. As for dioramas, its something I may look into.
