ALERT for Likely Scammer (1 Viewer)

Just a friendly heads-up to my fellow forum members.

I got a PM response from member "barkermatthew". This member joined today, has zero posts, and coincidentally just happens to know someone who has retired First Legion sets for sale who I should contact via email. Same exact M.O. as the scammer who was here a couple months ago.

Message I got was as follows:

"hello are you still interested in getting this?.
you can contact Andy he has a First Legion DAK Afrikakorps Sets for sale........... PM him @ turnerandy283@gmail.com"

Any member who receives a message like that needs to avoid the sender and report them.

I just got a similar PM. I just deleted the PM and reported the message as spam.

I got caught, last year, never though about it on a fourum such as this, but, unfortunately there are scammer dogs out there
has this guy been reported to Jule to end him off forum

I had the same message today regarding some K&C Naps which I was looking for in the “wanted” section.

Put “Matthew Barker” into Google and he’s on the scam alert for exactly the same offers of help on a fishing tackle forum in California…..
