"All blacks beaten"

Be careful with a title like that. That can get you in trouble here in the States.

Prost!

At first I thought that is impossible. There aren't enough police in America to do that. ^&grin Then I thought he must be talking about a sport, but I had never heard of the Ruby Championship. Must be the girl's version. ^&grin Does that count??

Well done Australia!!!

Just so excited that the Wallabies did the impossible I forgot the 'G' {sm2} but at least one North American knows what Rugby is ^&grin

I played a bit at McMaster University in the graduate student league for Geography. Most of the players on the Geography team were from Oz, NZ, England, Scotland and Wales. Since I was one of the very few Canadians (and the most expendable player on the team, they gave me the honour of being the Hooker. At least it seemed an honour until I found out what being the Hooker entailed. :rolleyes2:^&grin

Sammy,
From Wiki :

"The New Zealand national men's rugby union team, officially nicknamed the All Blacks, represents New Zealand in men's rugby union, which is regarded as the country's national sport.

New Zealand's early uniforms consisted of a black jersey with a silver fern and white knickerbockers. By the 1905 tour, they were wearing all black, except for the silver fern, and their name All Blacks dates from this time".

I did not include a lot of the information between those two sentences for reasons that would be obvious to any supporter of the teams they play {sm2}

Even the teams official web page is called allblacks .

Pretty much like when a soccer team is called the Reds.

However was a title likely to get some non rugby interest. Australia needs all the wins it can get at this time following poor performance by another team who have been breaking records for the wrong reason.
