Watching it now. Was a little disappointed that TCM is showing the silent version. It is a slightly different cut than the more common sound version, but every bit as good. As to those who have never seen it, IMO one cannot be a true war film buff if you haven't seen it. It is simply the best war film ever made. -- Al
