With the latest offerings from the Battle of Yorktown, it would seem that American Revolution Series has ran it course from the Battles of Lexington and Concord all the way to Yorktown.

What will Britains do now? End the series? Start from the beginning again making new 1775/1776 sets? Make random new sets?

I'm still fairly new to the toy soldier world, so I don't know. Any thoughts?

I think they're going to be coming out with more sets for Yorktown. I'm guessing they'll then move on to other campaigns. The old Britains ownership would start a series and not finish it, leaving you hanging. I think the new Britains is going to be more thorough. They're going to finish Yorktown before moving on. I think the Rev War stuff is popular so I'm sure there's a lot more coming.

Hello There! You are correct in that we are releasing more poses for the units already represented in the first catalogs...and releasing figures to represent other units at Yorktown. Remember that many of the units served at other locations too, so they will be useful for the campaigns before 1781. We plan on adding basic fighting poses to what was already released along with other branches of service and foreign troops. In the future there may be occasional sets that will be representative of dress prior to the Continental Army dress regulations of 1779 and some British units dressed closer to the British Army regulations of 1768. In time I am sure that some of the subjects visited by the previous owners of W.Britain will be addressed with new, and in some cases more accurate sculpts for your collection. Please be patient as we are trying to be sensitive about the number of sets released at any one time. It is a hard call between doing all of the sets requested and loading up the retailers or collectors with too many new products at once. Hope this helps, Ken

Thanks for the info.

Being more of a fan of the early action in the North, look forward to those sets whenever they come out.
