Monday - 24 & Heroes
Tuesday - Smallville
Wednesday - Desperate Housewives

The only series I watch are NCIS and "Life on Mars". Most TV does nothing for me.

Funny, Amercians watch BBC comedies and dramas on Public television.

I love Supernatural - although lately, its been a bit dull. The earlier episodes were as well researched and assembled as the old Kolchak series from the 1970's.

Only TV series I watch, and will start season 5 in April, is Rescue Me.
To me there are "chick flics" but this is a "guy flic".

Interesting, I've been moving in just the opposite direction. My cable provider includes BBC-America, and I've gotten to see some British shows that are far better than most of what we currently have, like the original "Office" (though I am a fan of our copy); Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares" (the original season is much better than the season shot here in the US); "Doctor Who" and "Primeval"; "Coupling", "Peep Show", and the one set in a book shop whose name escapes me.

Of course, I think your dreck is far worse than any of our dreck, but then, it's all pretty bad.

I haven't watched any TV since Friday night (except to pop in the DVD of "The 40 Year Old Virgin" on Saturday). I'm thinking of chucking TV altogether. It costs nearly $70 a month, for a hundred channels that I don't watch, and only a small handful that I do, and I can watch some shows online, free of charge, or on DVD, if I must. I'm close-if I can go another week, and not notice it, I think this month will be the last for my cable subscription.

Prost!

The only shows we watch on a semi regular basis in our house hold
are pretty much all cartoons  . Family guy , futurama and The simpsons.
I also watch the daily show most nights .

I don't get HBO but I have rented the HBO series Rome, Deadwood, John Adams and Carnivale from Netflix. I've also rented the network series Jericho about a small Kansas town after a nuclear war and civil war in the US. Nice to see these series all at once at my convienience.

and it will do even less louis, DEM SON"S OH B.........TCH'S just cancelled the best show to hit TV in a long time, YESSSSSSSSSSS i mean "Life on Mars"

the network is allowing them to write a finale to the series though,

sad day that when a show like this is gone, very well done i think, sure its goofy but hey, thats what makes it i think,

BUT crapp like the bachelor and ette still live long and prosperous lives on TV,

shhhhhhhhhh, my wife is coming if she see's me bash those two shows i am in for it, LOL

take care

I love Supernatural but tired of both guys being on guilt trips,Lost is driving me crazy,I'm disappointed in the last episodes of Battlestar Galactica,I've stopped watching Heroes,Smallville is getting bland,Clark is messed up in the head, all the good characters are gone,Legend of the Seeker is decent.I miss my Stargates but they were getting predictable,Fringe isn't bad but a little dry.History & Discovery channels have nothing interesting anymore.

Dear Brad (the Baron),
The comedy in the book shop is Black Books with Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey.
A great series. Wish they would do more.

For me it is the characters that I enjoy. NCIS (everyone's eccentric), CSI (but not Miami so much, Kane spends too much time posing with his sunglasses and never gets to do any science), Star Trek Voyager (Seven of Nine and the holographic doctor), Star Trek Next Generation (Q and Data), Deep Space Nine (Quark and Odo). But my all time favourite programme is home grown, Last of the Summer Wine, which, being in the same age bracket, I can relate to.

I like some of the Comedy Central programs, like the Daily Show and the Colbert Report along with South Park and some of the stand-comedian specials. Cartoon Network has stuff that's fun for grown-ups later at night. Fortunatly I have a TV in my workshop.

Ah, yes, thanks! And I remember the girlfriend, played by Tamsin Greig. A nice, quirky little show.

And along with "Peep Show", "That Mitchell and Webb Look" cracks me up, too.

Prost!

I like NCIS, Doctor Who, Monarch of the Glen and Ballykissangel Long Live the BBCA! And I am Irish American.:p

The only show I watch regularly is NCIS, otherwise I am usually watching the History Channel, Military Channel, NationalGeographic, the Discovery Channel or a DVD.

I also enjoy NCIS, I also have a wacky chanel that has all old 1950's Westerns, like Shotgun Slade, Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid, which are fun to watch and record.
