Wayne.

A flurry of WW1 from you, in your style of authenticity. Very cool Wayne. Robin.

This diorama looks so realistic and really strikes a chord with me because my Uncle Jack was amongst the diggers advancing on that day, 8th August 1918.

Jack was serving with 48Bn AIF but was wounded by shrapnel while taking a well earned lunch break in a captured trench just west of the village Probart.
He was admitted to the field hospital of 8th Australian Field Ambulance, but succumbed to his wounds and died the next day.
He was 18 years old ......... and now lays in the Somme soil in the Adelaide Cemetery 1920's at Villers Bretonneux.

More details of his service and his memorial here if you are interested, on my website ...... http://members.upnaway.com/~obees/soldiers/jack.htm

I absolutely love your WWI diorama photos! :salute:: Gritty and intense views of the most terrible war ever fought.

Another great WW1 scene from you Wayne. Masterclass you have become in this field. Kings to you!
