With Ken Osen’s departure from W.Britain, it’s only natural for some to wonder about the future of the company. Rest assured it’s on solid footing, building on the foundations that Ken helped establish over the many the years he worked with W.Britain as a contract sculptor, owner, and, most recently, as general manager and creative director. The quality production and historical accuracy of W.Britain figures is second to none, and this is in large part due to Ken and the folks working with him.

Ken has retired and certainly deserves it. He will now have the leisure to pursue many interests that he has not been able to enjoy while doing the work of W.Britain. He will still be available, however, to do some sculpting for us. And Ericka now has the opportunity to again engage in her first calling, handling historic clothing in a museum setting.

Other sculptors, painters, studio partners, and staff all remain in place. The work Ken has done is something he should be proud of and will be carried on. All the staff at W.Britain look forward to not only continuing Ken’s work but to carrying on the tradition started in 1893 by William Britain.
