I was looking at the new WWI Germans to put an order together and noticed that all the infantrymen have yellow tape or braiding on their collars and cuffs. That's a rank designation, making them all to be NCOs. The exact uniform is shown on page 29 in DK's book,World War I. It's identified as that of an Unteroffizer, a German rank between corporal and sergeant. Now I know that every army needs SOME good NCOs, but this is really ridiculous.

This is a simple mistake that should have easily been avoided with a little better reseach.

This mistake was pointed out after the release of the first group of WWI figures. Either the newer second group was already in the works or Andy missed that posting.

It would make their painting job easier, cheaper, and quicker without having to paint on the rank marking.

And most importantly, they would be accurate.
