I am the kilted Vampire .I live in Santa Clara CA. I have been painting plastics for about a year now. Started on Conte Civil war figures and graduated to what has become a first love which is Napoleonics. I'm mad for them . I've begun modifying Del Prado figures as well. The sculpting is very good. The production and reliability, well let us just say it could be better.So chopping up metal figures seems to be easier for me.
I tried to do some Dulcop figures. The human figures are all right some great detail even. proportions ehh. The horses what a joke.Haven't found a good vinyl glue as of yet.
I love the details of the Fench and her Allies' uniforms. The colors and panache well it is just hard to beat.

Welcome to the nut house and i,m glad to hear that there are more napoleonic fans out there and even into plastic and converting . I started a thread(or restarted) plastic conversions and hope you,ll post some of your work on there and that others will also. Its in the plastics section but I meant for it to be on converting figures so feel free to post your del prado coversions on there also, I,d like to chech them out it sounds like fun. I did a few britains metal conversions also.There posted Somewhere on this site already but I can,t remember where, I may try and repost them again in the conversion thread that I hope catches on.

Vamps where?! Oh sorry it 's just me. I normally have a lithp oh there it ithh. I only lithp when my fangth come out! I will try to remember how to post pics with image shack.
