Hoplite with Bandaged Head and Dory



This is one of the new Hoplites, outstanding figure.
 
And a good face. What I do notice, though, is the extreme colors on arms and legs which reminds me of my Renaissance artillery figures. This works best from a distance.

Could this be Homer? Poets or bards would go from town to town telling great tales, which would be then handed down, until at some point they were written down. As a matter of fact, historians were not sure if there was one Homer, but maybe several.

It certainly could but since I’m reading The Odyssey, I’ll say it’s Homer ^&cool
