Okay, I just finished posting about the flock on the new club set 12 figure.

I now opened the two monks firing and they have flock too! What?! They look very silly( had to find another polite word for dumb) next to my other Spanish figures.

This is the first set in the range with this flock from what I can tell.

The last figure I ordered and opened just now was SRN-06 British sailor defending. Thankfully that had the standard base the matches the rest of the sets. I got him as I have always felt there was a missing figure to the Gatling gun crew.

Wow. Just wow.

starting with flocking on the bases in the middle of a series is a little unusaul...

unless all the figures in the sub series will have flocking...

personally...I like it...

but maybe John can give you directions on removing it if you email him...

the sub series of the Fusiliers and Portuegese Infantry look like they might all be designed with flocking...

Personally, I like the look of the sparce flocking on the FIW pieces.

Hi everyone,

It seems that I am the only one who does not like it. Mike, John offered to remove the flocking on the sets I just purchased. I think that is way above customer service, but it is something that does not surprise me. John has always been one of the best in customer service. I feel the same way about his figures, the best in the this industry.

I am not going to take him up on the offer, kind as it is. That would just be silly. No need for all of that.

While I still don't like the flock, though I think it is the look of the future, I am not going to stop purchasing these new sets. I like the sculptures. It's why I collect Jenkins figures.

Mathew...

that's a very generous and personal favor he's offering...that's how John is...he wants you happy...your comment about his customer service satisfaction is so right...

in the future...I think it would be easy for John to hold back a set for you from flocking if you asked...whatever you decide...he will go the extra mile to make you happy...he genuinely wants his collectors happy...

I an not in favour of flocked bases.

They are good on military mimiatures where a diorama is needed but for individual metal figures NO WAY

When I get them I think I'll remove it to match all the rest of my collection

Sorry John.
