Then you could have Captain Cook, a longboat, sailors and marines too :)

There is a huge need for British Navy and Marine figures from this era... Incredibly versatile, everything from the American Revolution to early Napoleonics (the ill fated Quiberon Bay expedition)

Hello my friend, thankyou for your suggestion...To be honest at this moment in time I’ve got a lot more on my plate than my little knife and fork can handle!

As I’ve said on many occasions...It’s relatively easy to come up with a good idea...I’ve done it myself numerous times over the years.

The difficult part is deciding which idea or suggestion will appeal to most collectors all over the world and what kind of priority should be given in an already full to bursting production schedule.

Also which of any of the potential proposed subjects do I actually know something about AND also importantly ...Does it personally interest me and does it have ‘legs’..?

One other vital and very necessary point...If K&C go off on a brand-new tangent...Does that not take time, energy and focus away from other existing ranges and series..?

All of this and more must be factored into all decision making going forward.
Thanks once more,
Andy.

Thanks Andy, I agree, the potential range is too niche and people would not buy it in enough numbers to make a profit, what we as collectors sometimes forget is that to manufaturers this is a business and ranges have to sell and make a profit. All of us collectors have our own 'pet' era, vehicle, battle, etc. Just start a threat on what new range etc people would like to see and options come flooding in. Any new range takes resources and time which could be used on increasing to current ranges [K & C do a lot of different ranges], as Andy says, and people would complaint if there was not a Tiger 1 released every 4 months [that is a joke]. They have to make what sells, if not they go out of business, the amount of money it costs as well to develop a new range must be high, higher than many of us think.

I am thankful for what K & C and other manufacturers produce and keep me collecting, a female relative of mine calls my collection 'man ornaments' or 'man nic naks'.
