I was quite content to not collect your Crusaders until I saw your preview for Chicago.

One weeks later and I have to clear aside another shelf.

I am a weak, weak man - but having said that, and despite having a decent set of Petersberg crusaders - I have to say that these guys rock, and only seem to be getting better with each release.

Grrrrrrrr

:)

Seemed like an apt combination. Gotta love the Big D.

I say that just about every time I open my credit card statement. But hey, it brings me joy.
Can't wait to see the new Crusader releases they've got planned.

I see what you mean. I have got a quite nice collection of Schleich knights, castles, and accessories (bought for children, which I still have), at 90mm, but these are sensational!

Well done, Andy.

Those Schleich knights are a hardy lot and can take a lot of punishment :D They are a great introduction for kids to the world of history and warfare.

My intro to Crusaders was the Swoppets figs. I still have a bunch, plus the old Roman line as well. Ah, the memories...

Mine is the Britains "deetail" range - those with the green metallic base. Those made in England are of better quality than those subsequently manufactured in China. Still have them.

Swoppets is another great range - worth keeping!
