Hi guys,
Saw this last night and worth a look. Thought it better than Da Vinci Code.
Considering they did not have permission to film in the vatican I thought the sets were excellent.

Going to go see it tommorrow, don't agree with anything in Dan Brown's work, just going to see it, and then discuss the problems with the film.

Ah Vick best to keep an open mind mate.;):D If all the details aren't right, the general theme is pretty close to me.

The concept of the novel doesn't do anything for me, either, just another conspiracy thriller, I'm going to pass.

On the other hand, I finally got to see "The Duchess", it was pretty good, as far as period pieces go.

Prost!

Well I think that is a bit of misimpression. Whether to chose to accept all or part of it as reality is irrelevent since it is admittedly and clearly a novel, not a work of history. In any case, the book is certainly not just another conspiracy thrillers; it is a totally captivating read that kept me up until I finished it. Thus it is a thriller of the highest order and very well written to boot. It is actually a much better novel than the Divinci Code, which as most books, could not be real justice as a single movie and even then could have been done better, likely by a different Director.:(:D

Saw it yesterday, it was good enough thriller, but totally disagree with Howard, and Brown on EVERYTHING

Sorry, we'll have to agree to disagree :) the subject of the plot holds no interest for me, but I can appreciate yours. I'm the same with Michael Crichton novels, I have to plan when to read them, like on a Saturday, because I'll pick them up and read straight through.

Prost!
