Here are some photos of Anglo-Zulu war british figures size comparison.
From the biggest to the smallest : JJD, First Legion, William Britain, Thomas Gunn and Conte Collectible.
But, in regard of Thomas Gunn, notice there are two different sizes : the "big" and the "medium".

I recently watched the DVD of this great movie, and you can see that the soldiers are of different height, and some didn't wear jackets, so I think a mixture is much more realistic that having them all the same size.

Eben if they are formed up in line on parade, the tallest are on the outside, shortest in the centre.

Thanks for showing the comparison. I am with Obee, i think the difference makes a great scene. I have all these makers in my Anglo Zulu War collection except FL

Just my 3 halfpennyworth. I have FL,TG and 1 Britain’s (Fred Hitch with a pistol) and they are size compatable. But you cannot mix those with the 54mm ie Conte or Benieto. I have 2 Benieto Zulu warriors and they look tiny up against the FL or TG. FL and TG Zulus work together well for size and skin tone. I always think Britains look too dark but they have lightened the latest ones. Can’t wait to see the JJD Zulus they will be fab and compatable with FL.

seems to be quite a difference between wb and king c,,,the big round one,,,sonetimes change isnt for the best
