This is a new line Treefrog Treasures just picked up, joining our continually growing range of offerings from Argentina.
Reminicent of Imperial Productions, Laura Cuello Miniatures is a charming new line of 54 mm metal glossy figures produced in Buenos Aires, Argentina by artist Laura Cuello. Her first range, Sweet Moments depicts life at the beach circa 1900.
Laura does all the research, design, sculpting and painting of her line herself. You might be surprised to see such fine work for a line just begun, but Laura is no stranger to the world of miniatures. She is the niece of master sculptor Daniel Donzino and studies sculpting with him while working as the master painter for Honour Bound. Laura is also one of the partners in the artist group that owns and produces Southland Miniatures. Laura plans to focus on civilians subjects from around the turn of the century and we look forward to further releases from Laura Cuello Miniatures.

At the risk of signing like a member of a flack, these look like some very nice figures, making two interesting lines (Four Feathers) coming down the line from the Donzinos.
