Another Glossy mystery (at least for me) (1 Viewer)

In trying desperately to post up a "for sale" of a variety of mostly Russian-cast glossies (and discovering what they actually were thanks to some helpful folks here), I've ended up with a lone artillery piece that doesn't "match-up" with any of the sets I have. Would any artillery experts know the type & nationality?

Then, of course, who possibly did the model itself? It appears most of the other pieces were done by St. George's Cross/Lead Army, with some Potsdammers and still a mystery or two.

I don't think Lead Army does any casting/painting, but rather, is the agent for St. George's Cross, among other makers. I have some sets of figures from Sergei that also have the label "St. George's Cross", some Preobazhensky Grenadiers in Seven Years War/early Napoleonic uniform, and some Russian infantry circa 1740, though not all of the boxes are marked. But they're really well-done, in both the sculpting and the finish.

To that particular piece, Sergei had sets of Russian infantry from the Russo-Japanese War, and from the Russian Civil War, including an artillery set, and that piece may have been the gun that was included. I don't think there are any pictures up anywhere, though, that illustrate those sets. I'm not sure that the website is updated.

This really is a great forum in that, up until this weekend I really knew nothing of these sets other than their being of Russian origin.

What you bring in fits well with Paulo's (Viriato) lead down on my convoluted "for sale/trade" posting of these sets, and the prowling through the photos on Lead Army. The short story here is they are all part of a good friend's collection which became part of mine when his interests waned whilst responsibilities waxed. All he could remember was they were Russian from St Pete and he ordered up quite a number of sets, plus several separate-sale extra and assorted guns for his "artillery park", all probably ten years ago or so. Which gun goes with the original set of 1904 gunners is kind of lost, now, so all the direction I'm getting is most useful and educational.

It is sincerely appreciated by me (whose knowledge is sketchy at best).
