Now the USPS goes out of there way to help, but it turns out bad!
Bought a hockey jersey from a guy in Michigan on Saturday, paid with paypal. Monday he emails me with USPS tracking number. I quickly check it and it is suppose to arive today, 11-5. Mail comes today, no package. I go to USPS with the tracking number he gave me and it shows it was delivered in Mechanicsville, Pa. I live in Fenton, Mo. Sounds to me like he made an addressing mistake. I,m gonna get on this right away and get it corrected. I called the Mechanicsville post office and talk to a man, explain the above. He said I,ll get back with you but not probably until tomorrow. So lo & behold about an hour later I get a call from this post office guy telling me he has the package in hand. He drove to the residence where it was delivered and took it off of the porch. He then tells me he will ship it back to the seller. In the interem I attempted to contact the seller, could not, but left a message.
Early this evening seller contacts me, I explain the above, he informs me he gave me the wrong tracking number. That the corect tracking shows it will be delivered tomorrow.
The irony here is how many times would someone working for USPS go to such great lengths to help a customer, never happens until today!
What is a guy to do?
