Hi, I am origanally from Scotland, but now stay in Texas
Yes a K&C collector from Aberdeen (big John Jenkins fan too) - started collecting the new French Hussars. The Duellists was on Film4 again so we I hope we get a duelling pair in the future.
Hi Guys, hi Scott,
Yes, both Gordon and yours truly did indeed hail from the same part of “Bonnie Scotland” as young Scott!
The Royal Burgh of Renfrew, on the banks of the River Clyde, to be exact.
So Scott...You, me and brother Gordon that makes at least three of us that are Scottish and like K&C...Although Gordon and me are both a wee bit biased!!!
All the best,
Andy
P.S. Apologies...I should also have included our Aberdonian “Texan” friend..! So that makes four of us.
Any other of my countrymen on here?

Hello to everyone.
I live in Aberdeen and have been collecting K&C for years.I have an awful lot of WW2 stuff and a lot of Romans,Gauls,Napoleonics,Crusades and ACW.Also have a lot of John Jenkins, Britains,Frontline and Del Prado.
Of late I`ve been drifting over to 1st Legion and have a lot of their Napoleonics,Praetorians, Barbarians,Crusader and Agincourt ranges.
I`m particularly interested in the Medieval and Ancient periods and have a lot of Russian made figures particularly from Aeroart,Kolobob, Nienia and Bijato.I have a special weakness for Bijato figures but he seems to have disappeared from the scene over recent years.I would be grateful if anyone knows what happened to him.
I`m glad to hear there is another Toy soldier collector in Aberdeen as it gets a bit lonely at times. If he or anyone else who is visiting Aberdeen wants to get in touch I`d be happy to have them round to the house for a "showing" and a glass of wine.I live in Kingswells,a village 2or 3 miles outside Aberdeen but I can provide transport if necessary.(Tel.01224744754)
All the best to you all,AlexOswald.
Aberdeen resident temporarily in Shetland- I too have been enticed by First Legion their Retreat from Moscow rang is brilliant and I see they are bringing out some 'Marbot' sledges. Their French Great War Artillery piece might sway me from my John Jenkins collection. Ah - The Broch (Fraserburgh) - when I was in the Civil service there were streets in that town that we had to travel in pairs.
I have nearly all the John Jenkins Culloden range but I will not be shelling out for Sweet William(Duke of Cumberland) - or as we call him in these parts Stinking Billy.
