Very nice my friend, I hope K&C will release an European Tiger version

And still more Saand!:D

Funny, that was exactly what I was going to say! But you forgot Dept.56 Palm trees! And then.......

LOTS MORE SAND!!!

That Tiger looks really good in the sand.

And then........

More Tigers!

I got just about everything for the EA and AK. Have had the palm trees, and building, spring, oasis well, buildings, and walls.

Njja I've always said a pictures worth a thousand words and your photos prove it..........The Lt.

Dont buy the Woodland Scenics "Sand" product. Go to your local home improvement store and just buy playground sand or a craft store and they have small bags of sand for flowers etc. On that note you can buy white sand and use it for snow on winter scenes. Woodland Scenic stuff is nice dont get me wrong but you can reproduce the same effect for a lower cost if you get creative.

That's a good tip Brian.

Well...I've learned to be "economical" over the years. My best money saving tip is the use of doll house bricks for rubble. Buy a big bag...take them home....and whack the living @%&$ out of the bag. Good stress releaser too! Dump the rubble from your whacking into a can and spray paint, black, brown and grey.....and then display. I cant believe what some people pay for a small bag of rubble from some big name diorama companies...dont do it...its too easy to make your own!

Absolutly correct as is paying the $$$ for bags of scale stone as opposed to 5 lbs of cat litter for the same-un used of course, another discovery by the trainmen.

There is a certain "pirate " figure blister card at the various china mart stores containing a terrific two palm tree, for a 1$,,the remains can be given as great kid bribes to not play with your stuff.

I use crushed walnut shells. This product is used by people who raise lizzards and you can buy very cheap at pet stores. I like the effect that it gives.

Very nice picture there of some of your collection. Also thanks for the tips but I don't think I will be able to get sand for a while because of what the hurricane did to us.
