I just located a small collection of them and am considering keeping them for myself. They are remarkable little figures - all Greek subjuect matter.

Does anybody know more about them? They are really hard to find.

I have some Athena plastic figures from about 10 years ago. Don't know if these are the same ones you refer to. They come in marching poses with red or blue jackets and Greek skirts. I also have some flagbearers. If these are the figures they were sold in flea markets and toy shops in Europe and Greece. Leadmen

Sounds kind of like what I have. The arms should be able to move. I think they are form the early-mid 60's.

Norman Joplin published a thin hardcover book in the mid 90's titled TOY SOLDIERS-about a seven dollar book, but on page 44 under plastics he has a color picture of the Greek soldiers made by Aeoha of Greece. These are the same as Athena. Sold at tourist attractions in Athens. John
