I would really like to see some WB artillery for the Napoleonic period.
WB do artillery so well for ACW, Zulu and WW1 I just know they would make a great job of Naps artillery.
In my opinion the Royal Horse Artillery have been done to death now by most manufacturers past and present.
So it would be really nice to see some British Foot Artillery in Shakos for a change. ^&cool
The same applies to French artillery. :p
I would like to see whole sets supplemented with add on figures like the ACW lines.
It's a bit of a mystery why WB haven't produced any yet.
WB seem to be concentrating on the Waterloo period so it should be only a matter of time before they start on the artillery. After all there were mass artillery units at Waterloo on all sides.
Anyone think the same?
It would be nice to hear from WB on the subject.:)

I couldn't agree more! I would love some of those foot arty, and some different French artillery for a change! But even more, I want something else besides just firing artillery... I want a destroyed batter- a battery unlimbering, a battery in melay, re-positioning the gun, aiming, pulling the gun on foot (this especially). Anyone with me on non-standard artillery poses?

I totally agree Sandor. I would like some of the manufacturers to "think out of the box" with regards to artillery poses. Something WB does all the time.

I like the idea of cannon being moved around, pulled/dragged into place in the mud, British gunners running for the safety of the British squares while being charged by French cavalry and the French battery decimated and routed by the charge of the British heavies.

Imagine the mess these artillery guys would have been in at the end of Waterloo having been firing their artillery pieces all day. Torn and tattered uniforms covered in mud and powder is the way forward.
Let's forget the parade ground look and go for reality.

Exactly! No one has done artillery being drawn by tow ropes- I also love the squares idea. And arty is definitely a dirty job- where is the powder covered face and arms, and the muddy boots!

The collectors showcase rha sets from last year had all the above. There has not been much discussion about them on the forum but I liked them a lot.

Yes CS did release RHA sets about a year ago and I believe they sold very well. I have the limber set and the additional horse set from that release and they are fantastic.

I will probably buy some of their other sets if I see them on sale anywhere in the UK.

What I originally posted for was a William Britains release of non-RHA artillery.

Everyone seems to do RHA.

I want to see WB produce Napoleonic artillery but not like everyone else has produced and I believe that is Sandor's point as well.

I think that Napoleonic artillery should be coming soon. They have made artillery for all the other ranges so it only makes sense that Naps will be up next. :)

French Line Horse Artillery would be something different! Please!
