I am wondering if anyone already has the first releases of the Battle of snowshoes series and if so, what do you think?

I'm expecting them in the next couple of days.

Are you planning on collecting the entire series? Are the 2 French sets and the 2 Indian sets the ones due to arrive? I have noticed in the past that the actual figures are even more impressive than the photos--do you agree?
I would love to see a 27th RGT campfire scene to go with the new log/sled puller--a group cooking and trying to keep warm in the woods before the battle starts--here you could include the 2 red-coated skirmishers on the alert.

I am excited about these figures as well. I plan to collect this range and really do like the idea of limited figures in a limited range.

Randy-
I've been trying to collect all the new releases and plan on getting the complete BOS line. The first releases are the French and Indians. The JJ figures do look better in person and particularly when displayed en masse. I'm really looking forward to the Montcalm set in January. That may be the best in the entire JJ line. My favorite so far is "The Death of Wolfe."

Snow shoes are a must have series!
I take it that the sledge set is a little tongue in cheek as Christmas trees did not catch on till alittle later, I think (still a nice set)?

The Wolfe set is a work of art no question about it!
