Anyone know what's going on with DML and their line of diecast AFV? (1 Viewer)

Hi OD,

I've just seen a few of the new Panzer III models. Am I correct in my belief that they are mostly late production, marks like the J/L/N? I'd like to see some earlier ones, like the F/G/H. I've always found the preoccupation of manufacturers with German heavy tanks to be something of a disappointment. Of course, I understand that they focus on those types out of consideration for the market in question. Still, to look at the preponderance of manufacture, you'd think that WWII didn't begin until early 1943! I may be alone in this regard, but I'd like to see a lot more attention paid to the blitzkrieg years, as that strikes me as the more interesting period of the war.

Manufacturers will always be manufacturers .. and commercial considerations will be foremost on their minds. To compensate, I have other areas of interest to distract me and am just grateful to see Dragon's Mk lll after years of waiting.

If you are interested in early war armor, or light armored vehicles in 1 72 scale, perhaps you can look at some Hobby Master pieces. They have a great Mk ll and some iconic halftracks. That said, they can be quite small ...

Personally, I hope to see more artillery and heavy AA pieces in 1 72.
