Archive Collection - 7th Hussars - Acorn Collection (1 Viewer)

I recently bought a set of the Britains 7th Hussars from the Archive Collection series. When the set arrived I noticed on the boxtop end label that it indicates that this set is an Acorn Exclusive. I take it that it's referring to Acorn Media.

What I don't understand, if this set is exclusive to Acorn, why is it available from other Britains dealers? ^&confuse

I sure someone here knows the "rest of the story".

Can you post a photo or a series number I have a lot of Britains info so I might be able to help with a little more info to narrow the search.

Here is a link to the set on ebay. The set # is 49031. The "regular" Britains 7th Hussar set is 49011.

I wrote inserts for a number of the WB Acorn sets which as far as I know were sold only by either the UK or US Acorn offices. My guess is that the eBay set belonged to a collector who sold it to the dealer on eBay who is now doing a resale.

It depends on the set. Sometimes there may be a figure or two that is not available as a single. I think that was true of the recent RCMP set.
