I’m thinking of adding some CS Berlin Civilian figures to my K&C Berlin Civilians to make a larger crowd for my parade setup and was wondering if they would work together (similar height and figure base, etc). Has anyone else tried them together and if so, can you share some pictures?

I think the answer is all in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure several different views are out there on this topic.

I realize there are a lot of different opinions out there, that's why I was asking for pictures of these particular ranges to see if anyone has already done it and what are the results. Speaking with my brother and others, the two lines are "generally compatible" but it depends on the range. That's why I asking about these particular figures. I don't want to waste my or the dealer time if I end up spending the money to experiment, only to return the figures because they don't work for me.

Wow, no one has thought about or tied this setup besides me..... I find it hard to believe, but I guess I've seen stranger things in life...

To me I would say Yes, why not. Using both would give a good mix of variety in figures and poses.

CS figures and vehicles are generally taller than K&C. I'd say CS are actually closer to 1/29-1/28 as compared to 1/30. I think over all they can be used together. In the "toy soldier" world everyone is the same height. That's not like the real world.

Thank you ketelone,

I appreciate the useful information.

You are welcome Derek. If the different products appear 'too off' separate them..

IMO they are pretty compatible. Here are some pictures of K&C Hitler and his CS devotees. Cheers

Looks fine to me according to the pic.

Different range I know, but my KC Waffen SS/Normandy Germans go extremely well with my CS Normandy Germans. I've incorporated numerous sets and tend to mix and match the tank crews and they blend in well. The early CS figures where they tended to look more like zombies stood out more from KC, but in my experience the CS figures ever since the Panzer IV release go great with KC.
